      PROGRAMA DE ACTIVIDADES DE ABRIL
      MEDIALABMADRID/ CENTRO CULTURAL CONDE DUQUE


      EXPOSICIÓN:


      “El inventor de historias. Complejidad, código y lenguaje”
      Santiago Ortiz

      Del 14 de abril al 16 de mayo 


      El inventor de historias es una exposición dinámica e interactiva, así como un laboratorio abierto,  que parte de las ideas de la complejidad en las ciencias naturales, las matemáticas y la lingüística para dirigirse a otros rumbos a través de la antropología, la literatura, las artes plásticas y digitales.
       
      La instalación consiste en una red de elementos comunicativos (textos, imágenes y aplicaciones digitales interactivas) conectados mediante una trama de líneas que cubre todas las paredes de la sala. Los posibles recorridos que surgen de las bifurcaciones invitan al visitante a hacer sus propias lecturas. El espacio expositivo se transforma así en un mapa de conocimientos cuya trama ofrece la posibilidad de descubrir relaciones y añadir nuevos contenidos. 

      Durante la exposición se organizan encuentros y conversaciones con artistas y teóricos de los más diversos ámbitos. (Consultar el programa actualizado en: www.medialabmadrid.org).

      EXHIBITION:


      “The Storyteller . Complexity, code and language.”

      from 14th April to 16th May 


      El inventor de historias (The Storyteller) is a dynamic, interactive exhibition, as well as an open laboratory, which is based on the ideas of complexity in the natural sciences and of language,  and which proceeds to move in other directions through literature, and the plastic and digital arts.  

      The installation consists of a network of communicative elements (texts, images, and interactive digital applications) connected by means of crisscrossing lines that entirely cover the walls of the exhibit hall.  The possible paths that emerge from the junctions of these lines invite the visitor to make their own interpretations. Thus, the exhibition space is transformed into a map of knowledge whose strands offer the possibility of discovering relationships and adding new subject matter.

      During the exhibition, encounters and conversations will be organized between artists and theorists from the most diverse areas and fields. (Please consult the program available from www.medialabmadrid.org)
